Symposium on Translational Oncology

The Dutch Cancer Society (KWF
Kankerbestrijding) is delighted to announce that the symposium on
Translational Oncology will be held in Ede, the Netherlands, on 27 September
2010.
Oncology
in the Netherlands increasingly focuses on translational research. It is
considered highly important that scientific inventions will become
applicable to the patient. The focus of the symposium is providing a
platform for young translational researchers to present their ongoing
research and to encourage young researchers in the field of oncology to
share their ideas about translational research. It brings together
researchers studying a variety of tumours and inventions and it is an ideal
connective platform to exchange and debate the very latest in translational
research, the challenges that face modern translational cancer research, as
well as new approaches.
The
Scientific Programme will include Tales, Tools and Teamwork for
translational cancer researchers in The Netherlands. The Programme will
deliver the latest advances and insights into translational research and
includes keynote lectures, presentations from young scientists, educational
workshops, a 'meet-the-expert' session and poster sessions.
The
Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding) looks forward to welcoming you
all in September 2010 for what promises to be an outstanding educational and
social event on translational oncology.
